This Enthralling Starter, Spicy Chicken Drumsticks is much loved in the family and it has always been a huge hit at dinners and It work wonders as a starter.
We were up for a spicy dish after our pleasurable time this weekend with brilliant sunshine and as a family we are quite adventurous and love our explorable outdoor trips every weekend.
We look forward to enjoy our quality time with Noel by visiting all the striking, exquisite and adventurous places to go around our county and neighbouring ones as well.

This weekend we were off to one of Noel’s favourite outdoor spot, Thetford Forest which is one of the biggest lowland pine forests in Britain with wonderful patchwork of pines, heathland and broadleaves providing the ideal setting for a day out, and a welcome refuge for a rich variety of animal and plant life. We have been attracted by the peace and tranquility of Thetford Forest as well as the wide range of recreation facilities.
High Lodge is the venue where children can explore trails, use the play furniture and have fun on the large grass area. There is always something for everyone somewhere in the deep down forest and the quieter sites provide a haven. We always like to explore by taking a walk or bike at Lynford in their Arboretum or around the lake.

Its maintained by the forestry commission and it has around 200 tree species are here and in autumn it’s a blaze of reds, golds and browns. Deer, red squirrels, bats, adders and great crested newts and rare birds like the nightjar and woodlark have made their home here. We had a great time and hope to explore other forests around east Anglia in coming weeks.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Rz6ejk8Yr6M/RlHqzov9tFI/AAAAAAAAAp8/Fjye02qEiE0/s400/100_2787.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5067089228601341010" />

Now coming to my wonderful spicy drumsticks
How to make:

Chicken Drumsticks: 10
Ginger-Garlic paste: 2tbsp
Oil: 1 tbsp
Lemon: 1
Chilli powder: 2tsp or more if u like
Turmeric: 1tsp
Salt to taste

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Rz6ejk8Yr6M/RlHqdYv9tEI/AAAAAAAAAp0/U9BFswJ1C1Q/s400/100_2785.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5067088846349251650" />

Marinade the drumsticks with all the above ingredients and leave it in the fridge for couple of hours for the meat to be really succulent.
Place on a tray and keep them in the oven for nearly and hour and serve with warm salad.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Rz6ejk8Yr6M/RlHqJov9tDI/AAAAAAAAAps/qkc6HGGLnsI/s400/100_2784.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5067088507046835250" />

I made sunflower seeds bread which goes very well with a drizzle of olive oil.
Recipe for the wonderful bread to follow later
A nice starter indeed!!!

Delectable donuts made of lentils and fried to give the authentic South Indian Flavour
My family love to have some tasty munchies every weekend as we all tend to sit together and enjoy our evenings with a hot cuppa.
Snacks I try to make often are pakodas, vadas, bhajjis .
These are all deep fried snacks and oily but I guess once in a while we can relax our dietary habits and enjoy few traditional and authentic snacks which we have been eating for so many years.
Vadas are so simple to make and with few ingredients.

I try to change something in the recipe every time I put together a dish just to see whether I can enhance a simple dish ad make it little healthier. This time I tried to make these vadas in less than an hour. I didn’t want to soak for 4 hrs and wait and grind and make these.
So I started my try out to make faultless vadas within an hour.

Poor hubby and noel had been tasting my vadas more often then they usually would. I was content today with my splendid Vadas as they tasted so delicious with sambhar

Here’s the recipe:

Now add tomatoes, tamarind juice and cooked dal and let it boil for 10 min.
Now add salt and garnish with corainder leaves and dish up with hot Vadas

Now tell me can anyone resist these mouth watering Vadas with Sambhar
